Late appeal allowed for GAL fee award made without notice - Gudino v. Gudino

APPEALS – APPELLATE PROCEDURE – EXCUSING PROCEDURAL DEFAULT – FEE AWARDS (AT TRIAL) – GUARDIANS AD LITEM.  We’ve all seen many short opinions wherein the appellant is out of luck because the incomplete Record supposedly leaves the appellate court with nothing to go on.  But in an unpublished opinion called Gudino v.
